Cruz Beckham made a surprise appearance with The Kooks during the band’s headline set at Rock N Roll Circus in Norwich on August 22. Festival footage from the event shows Beckham joining the group onstage for a performance of Jackie Big Tits, a track from The Kooks’ 2006 debut album, Inside In/Inside Out.
The guest spot came after Beckham had already performed at the festival earlier in the day with his own band, The Breakers. His appearance with The Kooks added an unexpected moment to a lineup that also included The Vaccines, The Fratellis, Milburn and The Clause.
Beckham has been developing his own music career and has previously worked with The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard on songwriting. The Norwich performance gave the pair a chance to share the stage in front of a festival crowd.
The Kooks closed the main stage, with Beckham’s brief appearance becoming one of the notable collaborations from the day’s performances.
