The trial of Dawud Muneer Rogers, accused of fatally shooting William Blackwell in 2016, continued Tuesday in Lycoming County Court. According to North Central PA dot com, prosecutors called a slew of witnesses, including an ER doctor, former police officials, and cellphone experts, to detail Rogers’ movements before and after the shooting. THREE FIRE SCENES IN THE REGION TUESDAY
Fire crews responded to multiple blazes in the Muncy Creek and Williamsport areas Tuesday. According to the Sun Gazette, around 9:15 a.m., a three-story soybean dryer at Kepner Farm Supply in Muncy Creek Township caught fire, sending smoke billowing from the top. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze using less than 200 gallons of water, with minimal damage and no injuries. Then a flash fire at Frito-Lay on Reach Road was automatically suppressed, and later, an engine fire in a parked cargo van at McDonald’s on Lycoming Creek Road caused moderate damage before being extinguished. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
