Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour, which began in 2022 and eventually became the highest-grossing rock tour of all time, is apparently set to continue with a massive run of shows in 2027. During the band’s September 6 show at London’s Wembley Stadium, frontman Chris Martin revealed that Coldplay have numerous concerts planned next year. “This tour has 138 more shows to go,” Martin told the crowd. “We have a break coming up, and we’ll announce the shows for 2027 soon. But we only have a few more this year, and then we’re going to go and make this really special thing that we’ve been making for years and years and it’s really good.” After they wrap up their historic 2025 Wembley run on Friday (September 12), Coldplay will take a well-deserved break before unveiling the 2027 dates, along with putting the finishing touches on the mystery project that Martin teased from the stage.
